Bebee Road / Kohlers Crossing Groundbreaking Event
The City of Kyle is hosting a groundbreaking event to kick-off construction of two important road construction projects — the extension of Kohlers Crossing to Seton Parkway and Bebee Road — on Thursday, July 17 at 9:30 a.m. Parking during the will be available on-site (246 Republic Drive).
Kohlers Crossing to Seton Parkway will create a 1.07-mile stretch from I-35 to connect Kohlers Crossing Seton Parkway. Bebee Road will be widened to four lanes from the I-35 northbound frontage road to Sunlight Boulevard. Additionally, a two-lane roundabout will be constructed at the new intersection of Bebee Road and Kohlers Crossing to enhance traffic flow and safety for Kyle drivers.
Marketplace Avenue Ribbon Cutting and Grand Opening Block Party
The City of Kyle is hosting a ribbon cutting ceremony and “Grand Opening Block Party” to celebrate the completed construction of the Marketplace Avenue Extension Project on Thursday, July 31 at 6:30 p.m. near the intersection of Marketplace Avenue and Kohlers Crossing. Parking during the will be available onsite.
The Marketplace Avenue Extension is a 0.6 mile project that connects the northern and southern segments of Marketplace Avenue. The existing segment from FM 1626 to Old Bridge Trail was also widened to match the new section.
Marketplace Avenue is the first of eight projects in the 2022 Kyle Road Bond program to complete construction.
Road Bond Program Open House & Livestream
The community is invited to livestream Q&A panel and a come-and-go event to learn about the City of Kyle’s 2022 road bond projects. The panel will begin at 5:30 p.m. and be streamed online at kyleroadbonds.com, or through Kyle10, the City’s YouTube channel, or the City of Kyle’s Facebook page.
